How would YOU answer that?
When Coaching any individual, our first conversations revolve around that very question.
No matter how many people I talk to, the answers are always fascinating: Special or exotic places one wants to travel to, hobbies to pursue, becoming healthier and having more energy, a career change, a more robust savings account, more time with loved ones, mission trips...as a Coach, it’s so cool because it opens up MY eyes to the things that capture your heart, and a bunch of new things that I never knew about or considered. Wow.
More importantly, that question helps me meet you where you are.
HERE’S WHAT I’VE FOUND:

Some people are quick to blast their “want” lists out, there’s a spark in their eye, they clearly have given this thought beforehand, and ultimately are brimming with hope.

Others have a much more difficult time with this exercise. They are so incredibly shut down that it’s like pulling teeth to get them to open up. They’ve stopped dreaming or wanting anything more for themselves because they have been living in Survival Mode, do not believe that life could be different, or that any of those things could possibly come true.
NEITHER IS GOOD OR BAD. IT SIMPLY IS WHERE YOU’RE AT; THAT’S WHY YOU’RE HERE!
COACHING TIP:
If you resonate more so with the latter; (you seriously don’t think you’re the ONLY one do you?) I recommend the following starting point: Begin by listing out all of the things you DON’T want.
